As a Manager in Data Management & Strategy, you will lead the charge in technology transformation projects, aligning with strategic objectives to drive desired outcomes. You will provide assurance to leadership, manage timelines, costs, and quality standards, and steer both technical and non‑technical teams to deliver top‑notch technology solutions.
Your Key Responsibilities
Oversee the delivery of technology projects, ensuring adherence to methodologies like Agile and Waterfall, and mentoring team members.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation, applying research, analysis, and best practices to advance processes and solutions.
Manage complex technical initiatives, providing expert guidance, resolving issues, and achieving performance objectives across client service, risk management, and team development.
Engage actively with clients, leading workstreams and identifying opportunities to expand services.
Spearhead RFP responses and manage engagement economics, including resource planning and budgeting.
Travel as required to meet client needs and project demands.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Initiate requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprint, test, and document workflows and functional designs, overseeing multiple data workstreams.
Liaise with stakeholders and technical teams to translate needs into business solutions, defining data strategies, quality standards, and governance frameworks.
Direct teams leveraging SAP data tools (e.g., Data Services, Information Steward, MDG, Datasphere, Data Intelligence, Migration Cockpit) and integration methods (CPI, SLT, APIs) to maintain consistency across workstreams.
Proven ability to construct and direct technology projects in line with organizational goals.
Expertise in project and program delivery methodologies, with the ability to mentor others.
Strong analytical skills to develop creative solutions for complex problems.
Leadership skills to manage professional staff and supervise teams effectively.
Strategic thinking to drive sales, business growth, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
4+ years of relevant experience working with one or more SAP modules and full‑cycle implementations.
Specialized skills in Data Migration, Data Governance, Enterprise IT Architecture, Master Data Management, or related disciplines.
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills.
Experience managing SAP data projects or workstreams and leading project‑based team members.
Knowledge of leading practices, benchmarking, peer company environments, and prior advisory experience relevant to finance and technology functions.
Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations and new technologies.
Willingness to travel to meet client needs.
Desired (Preferred) Experience
Experience with Data Migration, Master Data Governance, Data Analytics, and/or data quality programs across SAP landscapes.
Additional qualifications or certifications in SAP data management tools or project leadership.
Proactive approach to identifying and resolving client data issues.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide teams and interact with clients.
