Description Our client is seeking an American Sign Language Interpreter to support clinical communication needs. The role involves facilitating interpretable communication between patients and healthcare teams.
Duties
On-site ASL interpreting for clinical encounters (approximately 30-45 minutes each) and team meetings.
Requirements
Interpreter with certification or associate’s degree in ASL.
High quality medical vocabulary (e.g., spinal cord injury terms), grammar, syntax, and cohesion.
Compliance with professional conduct, quality standards, schedule adherence, and emergency availability.
Experience in a clinical setting.
