Description

Our client is seeking an American Sign Language Interpreter to support clinical communication needs. The role involves facilitating interpretable communication between patients and healthcare teams.

Duties

• On-site ASL interpreting for clinical encounters (approximately 30-45 minutes each) and team meetings.

Requirements

• Interpreter with certification or associate’s degree in ASL.
• High quality medical vocabulary (e.g., spinal cord injury terms), grammar, syntax, and cohesion.
• Compliance with professional conduct, quality standards, schedule adherence, and emergency availability.
• Experience in a clinical setting.
