Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a locally owned company in Fargo, ND. We are seeking candidates for Material Handler roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for this contract position is $20.00 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information! What a Material Handler will do: Read work orders and follow instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved Load and unload materials onto pallets, racks, or designated areas using hand trucks, dollies, or other tools Transport materials between storage, work sites, and staging areas to keep operations flowing Monitor production for inconsistencies and promptly report any issues to your supervisor Resolve minor production concerns and escalate significant problems as needed Safely lift heavy objects manually or using power hoists as required Maintain a clean and organized work environment by cleaning machines, equipment, and workspaces Assemble crates for packaging and ensure proper containment of products Occasionally operate industrial trucks or electric hoists to assist with loading or moving materials Adhere to comprehensive safety protocols and participate in ongoing training Follow 5S principles daily to maintain an efficient and clean work environment Actively engage in cross-training and team collaboration to enhance productivity and skill development
