Full-time | Hybrid (after probationary period)

Schedule: MondayFriday, 37.5 hours/week.

Hybrid work: After a 90-day onsite probation, schedule transitions to 4 days in-office / 1 day remote (flexibility required based on case needs).

Compensation: Base salary $90,000 $104,000, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to multiple attorneys, including drafting, editing, and formatting legal documents and correspondence.
  • Prepare and e-file pleadings and other legal documents in California state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with rules and deadlines.
  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, hearings, and court appearances, and monitor critical deadlines.
  • Organize and maintain client files (electronic and hard copy).
  • Assist with attorney timekeeping and billing, including reviewing and preparing invoices.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for attorneys attending trials, hearings, and client meetings.
  • Support trial preparation, including creating binders, exhibits, and closing materials.
  • Provide backup assistance to other administrative staff as needed.
Qualifications
  • 610 years of experience as a Legal Secretary, with at least 3 years in commercial litigation at a large law firm or Am Law 100 environment.
  • Proven ability to support five or more attorneys simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in e-filing (ECF), docketing, calendaring, and litigation procedures.
  • Strong technical skills, including Microsoft 365 and legal document management systems.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Stable job history, showing long-term commitment in previous roles.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
