VICE PRESIDENT, RECRUITING

Reports to: Senior Vice President, People Success

FLSA Status: Exempt

SUMMARY

The Vice President, Recruiting serves as the strategic leader responsible for driving all recruiting initiatives across the enterprise, positioning Pro Food Systems (PFS) and its family of companies as an employer of choice. The VP will lead enterprise-wide recruiting operations to ensure that the company attracts, hires, and retains the right people to fuel continued growth. The VP will collaborate with executive leadership, departmental leaders, and the People Success team to align talent strategies with organizational goals and culture.

The ideal candidate is a visionary people leader who combines strategic foresight with operational excellencean expert in scaling high-performance teams, fostering innovation, and championing an exceptional candidate and employee experience across all business segments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Enterprise Talent Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise recruiting strategy aligned business objectives, growth goals, and company culture that will attract, engage, and retain high-performing talent.
  • Develop and implement employer branding initiatives in partnership with Marketing to enhance our companies presence and reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Lead the design and execution of scalable, data-driven recruiting systems, processes, and technologies.
  • Champion innovative sourcing strategies, including digital campaigns, AI-enabled tools, and university and community partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations and diversity hiring standards.
  • Drive process improvement and consistency across applicant tracking systems (ATS), reporting, and candidate communications.
  • Communicate positions and hires internally and externally.
  • Educate hiring leaders on the hiring and selection processes.
  • Establish and monitor recruiting metrics to measure efficiency, quality of hire, and long-term retention.
  • Stay informed of and advise leadership on market trends, labor dynamics, and HR technology advancements to proactively shape PFSbrands, Mosers, and all companies' recruiting strategy.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with external recruiting partners, search firms, and networks.

Data, Insights, and Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain accurate applicant and employee records in accordance with all laws and company standards.
  • Leverage data analytics to track performance, forecast hiring demand, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to communicate recruiting effectiveness and ROI to executive leadership.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve candidate engagement, hiring quality, hiring velocity and other key recruiting metrics.

People Success Support

  • Collaborate with People Success team to ensure seamless onboarding of new hires.
  • Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Organization Behavior, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; will review experience in relation to education.
  • 10 years of progressive HR experience, including significant leadership experience in recruiting, organizational development, or training roles.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing large-scale hiring strategies that drive organizational growth
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using metrics, dashboards, and predictive analytics
  • Executive-level communication and influencing skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and business units
  • High level of integrity and professionalism with strong business acumen

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work is typically performed in normal office conditions
  • Position requires occasional overnight travel
