About the Firm

This is a dynamic, CIO-led hedge fund managing approximately $3 billion in assets. With a highly concentrated, event-driven investment strategy and a lean, high-performance team, the firm operates at the intersection of precision, intensity, and excellence. Headquartered in New York with a satellite office in London, the culture emphasizes responsiveness, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The Opportunity

The firm is seeking a Junior Investor Relations / Administrative Assistant to provide critical operational and administrative support to its Investor Relations (IR) team. This is a high-impact, fast-paced role ideal for a detail-oriented, resilient, and proactive professional looking to grow within a demanding but rewarding environment.

You’ll work closely with the CEO/CIO and the IR team to ensure seamless investor communications, meeting preparation, and CRM management. This is not a traditional EA role - it’s a hybrid position that blends administrative precision with exposure to investor relations workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the IR team with scheduling, meeting logistics, and document preparation.
  • Prepare the CEO/CIO for investor meetings by organizing materials and tracking action items.
  • Attend investor calls (listening only), take detailed notes, and draft concise summaries.
  • Maintain and update the firm’s CRM (Dynamo), ensuring all investor interactions are accurately logged.
  • Monitor incoming IR-related emails and coordinate responses with the broader team.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of monthly investor communications and reports.
  • Track and compile investor feedback and analyst commentary.
  • Serve as the organizational hub for the CEO/CIO’s IR-related workstreams.

Who You Are

  • Experience: 1–2 years in an administrative, operations, or IR support role. Prior IR experience is a plus but not required.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Attributes: Thick-skinned, resilient, and calm under pressure.
  • Conscientious, hardworking, and eager to learn.
  • Presentable and professional in demeanor.
  • Able to follow instructions precisely while taking initiative when appropriate.
  • Team: You’ll support the CEO/CIO, CFO, and the IR team, including a France-based marketing lead.
  • Reporting: Indirectly to the CEO/CIO; operationally embedded within the IR vertical.
  • Culture: Intense, hands-on, and highly collaborative. Everyone is expected to be proactive and responsive.

Why Join?

  • Be part of a lean, high-performing team at a top-tier hedge fund.
  • Gain exposure to investor relations and high-level communications.
  • Work directly with senior leadership in a role that offers visibility and growth.
  • Thrive in a culture that rewards diligence, precision, and initiative.
