As a Recruiter, you won't just fill vacancies—you'll be an essential architect of our workforce, managing the full recruitment lifecycle from compelling job postings to successful onboarding. This role requires more than just processing applications; it demands a strategic partner who can craft tailored recruiting strategies with hiring managers, leverage a data-driven mindset to track metrics and optimize processes, and ensure strict compliance in our dynamic hospitality and entertainment sector.
If you have a minimum of one year of successful recruiting experience (ideally in hospitality) and are proficient in ATS technology, you're the high-energy, adaptable professional we're looking for to help us amplify the Cherokee Nation Entertainment's mission through superior talent acquisition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least one (1) year of successful recruiting experience, preferably in hospitality, entertainment, or tourism; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of the full recruitment lifecycle and best practices for sourcing and selection.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, recruiting software, and job boards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze recruitment data, track KPIs, and use insights to inform strategy.
- Knowledge of employment laws, compliance regulations, and industry-specific requirements.
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships and networks.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
Responsibilities
- Source and identify qualified candidates using a variety of channels, including social media, job boards, professional networks, and industry events.
- Partner with hiring managers to define candidate profiles and implement tailored recruiting strategies.
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, phone screens, interview scheduling, and offer negotiation.
- Conduct and ensure compliance with pre-employment verifications (background checks, drug testing, education verification).
- Maintain accurate candidate and process data in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Utilize recruitment technology, including ATS and video interviewing platforms, to streamline workflows.
- Develop recruitment marketing materials to strengthen employer branding.
- Monitor and analyze recruiting metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify improvements.
- Stay informed on industry trends, labor markets, and compliance requirements.
- Represent Cherokee Nation Entertainment at Community and ID Events
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
