Airline Support Engineer (Experienced or Senior)

The Boeing Company’s Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an experienced or senior Airline Support Engineer to join our team in Seal Beach, CA. In this dynamic role you will serve as the technical interface between Boeing and our airline partners, ensuring operational and reliability performance for safe and economical flight operations.

Position Responsibilities

• Act as a proactive technical customer advocate for selected airline customers.
• Develop thorough knowledge of top customer issues and lead them to closure by coordinating with functional/integration teams.
• Maintain frequent contact and coordination with Boeing Field Service Representatives and customer airlines.
• Author and review documentation associated with the airlines using Boeing Communication System messages, trip reports, meeting minutes, and reliability reports.
• Know the products Boeing supports, including knowledge of commercial model airplanes and airline operations.
• Collaborate with Service Engineering, Field Service Representatives, Customer Engineering, Program Management, Sales, Airline Logistics, and other teams to build and maintain relationships.
• Use program management skills to lead the resolution of customer in‑service issues, assess priorities, determine available resources, and develop action plans.
• Manage multiple projects and demands in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment; communicate plans and monitor follow‑up to ensure execution and closure.
• Execute proposed actions and interact with senior‑level executives and mid‑level managers at airlines and at Boeing.
• Maintain good verbal and written communication skills and build constructive relationships in a technically and culturally diverse environment.
• Coordinate with and present to Airline Customer and Boeing Executive Leadership.
• May lead activities across customer accounts.
• Occasional travel to airline bases and customers is required; travel may be domestic or international.
• Work alternate shifts occasionally to support the 24/7 needs of the customer.

Work Authorization Statement

This position is expected to be 100% onsite at Seal Beach, CA.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a non‑US equivalent qualification directly related to the work statement.
• 3+ years of engineering experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to integrate with customers, suppliers, and other organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

• 9+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience working with organizational leaders to develop and implement plans and objectives.
• Experience supporting technical questions for airplane programs or similar.

Summary Pay Range

• Experienced (Level 3): $104,150 – $141,450
• Senior (Level 4): $128,350 – $173,650
