Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager

in

Transportation Planning & Design . In this leadership role, you will manage high-profile roadway, highway, and infrastructure projects from concept through construction. You will guide a skilled team of engineers, oversee plan development, and partner with public and private clients to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation solutions. Every day brings a new challenge—whether it’s designing a complex interchange, improving municipal roadways, or developing long-range transportation plans that impact thousands of daily commuters. What You'll Do

Lead design and development of roadway, interchange, and drainage projects across Ohio and the surrounding region.

Oversee project budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables while mentoring junior staff.

Collaborate with local, county, and state transportation agencies to ensure compliance and innovation in design.

Perform detailed plan reviews, design calculations, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and constructability.

Manage client relationships and provide trusted technical insight from project kickoff through completion.

Contribute to creative, data-driven solutions for transportation challenges—using the latest in CAD and design software.

What You'll Bring

Bachelor 0s degree in Civil Engineering , with a concentration in

Transportation Engineering .

Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio.

10 years

of experience in civil/transportation design (ODOT experience strongly preferred).

Proficiency with

MicroStation

and

OpenRoads Designer (ORD)

or similar software.

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills—able to manage multiple priorities and mentor others.

A passion for improving how people move through the built environment.
