Job Summary
This position is a member of the new Human-Environment Administrative Cluster (AC). The position will work closely with the School of Envirionment, Society & Sustainability, and support with cross training and coverage for the Department of Anthropology. These units are engaged in exciting teaching, research, and community outreach across a wide range of topics covering human-environment interactions.
This position involves supporting administrative tasks with the Human-Environment AC. This AC thrives in a team-oriented environment that emphasizes communication, professionalism, service, stewardship, and engagement.
Responsibilities
Office Administrator, III
Acts as a primary contact for Faculty and supports faculty-related processes and paperwork for initiatives such as retention, promotion, tenure ( RPT ), tenured faculty review ( TFR ), Career-line, adjunct, visiting faculty ( CAV ), leaves of absence, faculty and administrative appointments, faculty activity reporting (Elements), etc.
Manage curriculum changes, coordinate classroom, and manage work-study students
Coordinates closely with experts in the AC, Human Resources, Finance, and Facilities. Prepares necessary forms to remain within compliance with university and AC workflows and policies.
Ensures timely and efficient completion of tasks.
Supports with course scheduling and undergraduate programming.
Initiates procurement for AC needs.
Supports departmental travel approvals and timely submission of receipts.
Cross training and coverage with AC staff .
Other duties as assigned .
This is a Career-Level position in the General Professional track.

Minimum Qualifications
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT :
1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).

Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 6 years or a master’s (or equivalency) + 4 years of directly related work experience.
