Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within government locations. Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and perimeter to deter unauthorized activities. Observe and report unusual or suspicious situations that may pose risks to people, property, or information. Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and access control in accordance with site-specific protocols. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents and/or emergencies. Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal policies and the site\'s procedures. Minimum Requirements

Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree. Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or an equivalent program. Possess an armed guard card or license as required. Possess a college degree. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. Hold a corrections officer license. Hold a law enforcement officer license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
