Responsibilities
reviewing inventory documents received via Publix Connection, fax, and provided by the inventory service who counts much of the inventory
performing audits on sub-department voucher expenses and retail/cost items to ensure proper recording to Publix’s financial statements
providing subject matter expertise and support to Retail Operations and Retail Leadership regarding bonuses and P&L reporting
ensuring that donation forms are properly received and accurately accounted for in preparation for potential tax saving benefits
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or another analytical discipline or equivalent
3 years’ experience in retail environment
Knowledge of (Quality Improvement Process) QIP improvement methodology
Knowledge of P&L Accounting
Knowledge of the different retail departments and sub-departments
Basic skills in Host on Demand & Store Accounting
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Applications
Basic skills in Microsoft Office Applications and Internet Explorer
Additional Skills and Requirements
Ability to multi-task and handle large volumes of work at once
Auditing and analytical skills
Verbal and written communication skills
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to work under deadlines and handle the pressure of deadlines
Exhibit professionalism and the ability to deal with confidential subject matter

Must be flexible and highly productive
