The Opportunity

We're hiring a Senior Family Law Attorney

to lead complex matters, mentor attorneys/paralegals, and drive successful outcomes in and out of court. You'll own strategy, manage a litigation calendar, and elevate client experience while modeling best practices for the team.

Responsibilities

Lead Litigation:

Handle case strategy end-to-end (pleadings, discovery, mediations, evidentiary hearings, and trials). Courtroom Advocacy:

Appear at case management, temporary relief, enforcement, and contempt hearings; conduct depositions and cross-examinations. Client Counseling:

Provide practical, solutions-oriented guidance and manage expectations with clear timelines and budgets. Negotiation & Settlement:

Craft proposals, draft/argue motions, and drive resolution where appropriate. Quality Work Product:

Draft precise motions, MSJs, financial affidavits, parenting plans, and final judgments. Team Leadership:

Mentor junior attorneys and paralegals; review work product; run case-status meetings; support training. Operational Excellence:

Utilize firm systems (Clio Manage, Microsoft 365/SharePoint, Zoom, etc.) and uphold docket control, deadlines, and billing compliance.

What Success Looks Like (KPIs) Meets or exceeds billable hour targets and collection goals. Timely, high-quality filings with zero missed deadlines. Strong client satisfaction (NPS/Google reviews) and professional communication. Proactive case movement: clear next actions, well-prepared hearings, and on-time deliverables. Positive leadership impact: coaching, feedback, and capacity building for the team.

Qualifications

Florida Bar in good standing required. 10+ years of family law litigation experience in Florida (bench trials, evidentiary hearings, depositions). Mastery of Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure, Rules of Evidence, and local administrative orders. Exceptional writing, oral advocacy, and negotiation skills. Proven ability to manage a high-volume docket while maintaining quality and client care. Collaborative mindset with a commitment to our core values.
