Friday am - Monday am coverage schedule, 2-3 shifts per month
1-2 babies per day with occasional pediatric admissions
Level II nursery -- care for infants over 32 weeks gestation
ED staff manages patient care with pediatric consultation as needed
Procedures include intubation, stabilization, and lumbar punctures
Daily ED consults and newborn delivery attendance as requested
NRP and PALS certifications required
Ongoing coverage opportunity
