We’re looking for our first U.S. Talent Acquisition hire to own recruitment for our New York hub. This role is pure impact: you will set the processes, define the culture, and directly scale the team that fuels Atera’s growth on the ground. It’s a foundational role with massive strategic influence. What You’ll Do
Own several pipelines and partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and build the right process for each position. Own the connection with candidates from end to end, including initial conversations, HR interviews, and offer negotiation. Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding. Work closely with HR colleagues, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on recruitment strategies, priorities, and goals. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other relevant databases. Take part in employer branding activities and events, and push for initiatives in this area. Requirements
At least 5 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or in a similar high‑tech role. Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and industry trends. Passionate about sourcing and candidate attraction activities. Enthusiastic about creating a state‑of‑the‑art candidate experience for each vacancy. An open‑mind, hands‑on approach to sourcing and engaging top‑tier candidates. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools. Results‑oriented with a focus on delivering a positive candidate experience. Strong experience with HR interviews, reference calls, and offer negotiation. A data‑driven approach to recruitment. Ability to commute to our NY‑based office 3 times per week. For this position, we offer a total annual salary of $120,000 – $140,000. In addition, Atera offers comprehensive health and vision benefits, 401(k) matching, and a generous PTO plan. We operate under a hybrid model, allowing employees the flexibility of three office days per week in our beautiful One Penn office while also accommodating remote work arrangements.
