Business Office Coordinator At Bethesda Chevy Chase Surgery Center, we believe health and care are inseparable. We focus on offering a high-quality, service-oriented environment for your surgical procedure.

We are looking for a Business Office Coordinator (BOC) to assist the Business Office Manager. The right person will also supervise Registration and Medical Records and be responsible for the business office when the Manager is away.

Responsibilities

Assisting the Business Office Manager with supervising business office employees and processes

Hiring, orientation, performance reviews, and training of the registration and medical records staff

Maintaining accounts receivable, including managed care contracts; reconciling cash receipts to the deposit log

Assisting the Business Office Manager with overall strategic planning of the business office

Pay Range $26.00 to $29.00 (Wages are determined based upon several factors, including but not limited to an individual’s qualifications and experience.)

Required Skills

Must be a high school graduate. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Five years of supervisory experience in a medical setting, such as a hospital, physician's office, or surgery center, preferred.

Experience working with physicians is desirable.

Must know medical terminology.

Prefer experience in accounts payable and receivable.
