We are looking for a talented (Hybrid) SAP Finance (FICO) Principal to join our team for our Business Transformation Unit in Indianapolis, IN. Responsibilities
Architecting Scalable Solutions: define the breakdown of complex systems into manageable components, ensuring each part is functionally allocated and interfaces are clearly established, laying the foundation for scalable, maintainable solutions. Creating Reusable Design Standards: develop design patterns and configurations that serve as reusable building blocks to accelerate delivery and promote consistency. Delivering Fit-for-Purpose Capabilities: translate business needs into technical solutions aligned with strategic goals. Driving Strategic Decision-Making: perform complex cost/benefit analyses to guide future-state capability investments. Establishing Governance for Change: lead the creation of architectural principles to govern solution decisions and manage change effectively. Ensuring Compliance and Performance: conduct solution audits and monitor performance to adhere to standards and maintain system integrity. Shaping the Future-State Architecture: develop roadmaps with stakeholders to guide the organization toward its desired future state. Influencing Industry and Mentoring Talent: mentor junior architects and engage with industry experts to elevate architectural maturity. Qualifications
Education: College, university, or equivalent degree in a relevant technical discipline or relevant equivalent experience. This may include licensing for export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Significant experience in architecture and design for cloud-based platforms; knowledge of trends in emerging technologies. Deep SAP Expertise: hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO), including configuration and implementation; certifications and exposure to Group Reporting, Central Finance, Treasury, or FSCM preferred. Architecture & Solution Design Mastery: ability to define architecture deliverables and ensure solutions meet business, technical, and compliance requirements. Risk & Issue Management: proactive identification and management of risks to maintain momentum and ensure delivery. Additional Qualifications: experience with architecting and integrating enterprise systems, trade-offs evaluation, IoT knowledge, Agile/DevSecOps experience. Key Technical and Functional Focus
Lead design, implementation, and optimization of FICO solutions across multiple countries with localization and statutory reporting awareness. Provide best-practice guidance for S/4 HANA Finance implementations and leverage out-of-box capabilities. Ensure integration with logistics, service/project modules, and non-SAP systems (e.g., Oracle, Basware, HighRadius, BlackLine). Hands-on configuration in FICO submodules and proof-of-concept development. Collaborate with stakeholders and SI partners to translate requirements into scalable SAP Finance solutions with minimal custom development. Validate SI-proposed solutions against SAP standards and ensure global harmonization. End-to-end project lifecycle ownership and knowledge transfer to AMS teams. Mentor finance process owners and junior SAP consultants. Troubleshoot complex FICO integration issues and advise on enhancements when justified. Support global rollouts ensuring compliance with local statutory, tax, and reporting requirements. Ensure integration with planning and supply chain tools in the broader ecosystem. Location
This position is remote and can be based in Indianapolis or Atlanta, with preference for candidates in Eastern or Central time zones. Relocation is not offered for this role. Compensation And Benefits
