Overview
Manager, Working Capital role at KPMG US within the Performance Transformation group in Deal Advisory and Strategy. KPMG Advisory is a fast-growing practice focused on client demand and development opportunities. This role involves leading working capital engagements and delivering value through data-driven insights and collaboration with executives. Responsibilities
Lead working capital engagements including order to cash, procure to pay, supply chain or inventory optimization, and corporate performance improvement projects from start to finish. Responsibilities include setting scopes and budgets, staffing resources, generating information requests, leading client and target workshops, creating and coordinating final deliverables, and assisting with presentation of results. Act as the project manager to ensure successful problem formulation, hypothesis generation, comprehensive analysis, testing hypotheses, and problem resolution. Provide oversight of KPMG work teams throughout the project lifecycle and serve as the primary team interface with executives and team members at various levels. Lead the team to create value-add insights aligned to the client\'s strategic and financial objectives, identifying underlying value propositions and challenging near- and long-term working capital and cash flow management goals through structured data analyses. Support proposal development and other new business development activities by leveraging relationships with C-level executives across corporate and private equity clients. Support professional development of team staff. Qualifications
Minimum five years of recent experience in a client-facing discipline at a Big 4 firm, major strategy firm, or boutique firm with a focus on working capital, order to cash, procure to pay, or supply chain or inventory cash flow or operational performance. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; MBA preferred. Experience in at least one of the following consulting areas in working capital: transaction and business due diligence, operational and performance improvement, strategic growth, or other relevant strategy experience. Ability to assess, improve, and redesign business processes with a focus on implementation, including financial analysis, business strategy, and supply chain optimization. Deep performance improvement skillset with the ability to develop strategic insights from analyses of working capital performance and post-deal value creation. Ability to travel as needed. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future. No sponsorship is available for various employment-based visas. Compensation and Benefits
