Responsibilities

As a key advisor to corporate clients, deliver working‑capital services focused on order‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay, inventory, or supply‑chain processes and cash‑flow optimization.

Work closely with the engagement partner or managing director to lead and develop client relationships and oversee teams of consultants through opportunity assessment and program implementation.

Help drive business‑development efforts focused on working capital and cash‑flow improvement through targeted initiatives within process cycles (AR, inventory, AP); this includes writing proposals, participating in pitch meetings, and negotiating scope and terms.

Lead the team to create value‑add insights tied to the client’s strategic and financial ambitions, identifying the underlying value proposition for optimization programs through structured data analyses and implementation efforts to uncover operational risks, efficiencies, or other opportunities.

Work across B2B and B2C industries, including but not limited to industrials, services, healthcare, life sciences, consumer goods, retail, energy, technology, and telecom.

Contribute to the development of the offering, product collateral, and the professional development of KPMG Strategy team members, including recruiting and training new staff.

Qualifications

Minimum of eight years of external consulting experience in a client‑facing strategy discipline at a Big 4, major strategy firm, or boutique; focus on working capital, order‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay, or supply‑chain/inventory cash‑flow improvement. Additional relevant experience with M&A operations for a private equity firm or a Fortune 100 firm is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred.

Experience helping global corporations or private equity firms conduct thorough analysis, including assessing process performance, organization, policies, systems, tools, and metrics; plus project or program management, strategic cash‑flow and cost optimization, operational improvement, customer profitability, vendor terms optimization, inventory optimization, organizational restructuring, and change management.

Strong business acumen with analytical and problem‑solving skills and the ability to understand how business‑model decisions impact operating‑model design and execution across operations, technology, risk governance, and organizational design.

Comfort with ambiguity and fluid consulting situations.

Ready to travel as required.
