As Director of Clinical Services, you will serve as a strategic driver of clinical excellence, empowering teams to deliver quality, safety and patient-centered care across the division. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Safety Response & Readiness Drive accountability with Clinical Services Managers for core safety responsibilities and timely completion of Safety Snapshots. Provide on?site support for large safety issues or Immediate Jeopardy surveys (CMS + CLUE).
Coaching & Talent Management
Drive accountability with the MCS team for performance outcomes. Coach MCS where underperformance or challenging relationships exist. Create space for regular development conversations; advocate for career growth and succession planning.
Driving Clinical Outlier Support
Execute prioritized process execution for opportunity areas in partnership with Operations & Home leaders. Resource priorities by largest value to clinical excellence. Rally MCS team across the division to drive clinical outcomes and safety for all modalities. Collaborate with Operations leaders to drive accountability where appropriate.
Sets Clinical Strategy for Division
Lead the divisions clinical landscape and strategic alignment on outcomes, quality and safety in partnership with the DVP. Execute rollout of clinical initiatives and action plans; ensure accountability and measurable outcomes. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Required
Bachelors degree in nursing or related field. 810 years of clinical experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred
Masters degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration or related field. Experience in dialysis or nephrology. Certification in healthcare quality or patient safety. Experience managing remote teammates.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations Required
Current RN license in the state of practice with no Board of Nursing disciplinary actions. Current drivers license, reliable transportation and vehicle insurance in the state of residence.
Preferred
Certification in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or similar. CPR & ANNA certification. Currently hold or previously held CNN, CSN, or Bonet Certification.
