Overview KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a global life sciences company to identify a Technical Accounting Manager. This role will lead technical accounting and GAAP matters and support the global organization. This is a hybrid remote role requiring 3 days per week in office. Additional details include:

Responsibilities

Perform periodic technical accounting and GAAP assessments as necessary

Support business and finance partners to conduct accounting research and determine the appropriate accounting treatment

Draft technical accounting memos to support accounting conclusions on complex issues

Implement and maintain the company’s accounting policies and oversee compliance

Work with external auditors on conclusions and documentation of complex accounting issues

Assessment and implementation of new accounting standards

Prepare training materials on new or existing accounting standards for training

Responsible for performing internal controls / SOX over technical accounting matters

Qualifications

5+ years straight public accounting or public accounting / industry combo with strong GAAP and public company experience

Experience with technical accounting / GAAP and supporting SEC reporting

Public company experience including SOX

CPA or in process required

Compensation Base pay range: $120,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr

Compensation: $120k - $145k Base + Bonus
