Base pay range $160,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

The

Director of Brand

serves as a key strategic partner to the executive leadership team, responsible for driving brand growth, creative excellence, and emotional connection with customers across every touchpoint. This role oversees the full Brand Marketing organization, including social media, community management, copywriting, graphic and motion design, photo operations, PR, brand partnerships, and influencer strategy.

The ideal candidate is a strong strategic thinker and operational leader who can balance creativity with process, ensuring the brand’s storytelling is both inspired and flawlessly executed.

Key Responsibilities

Execute a holistic brand strategy to deepen customer connection, elevate the brand’s premium positioning, and drive growth.

Lead integrated marketing calendars and campaigns across channels, managing upper-funnel initiatives to build awareness and brand equity.

Manage a multidisciplinary team spanning brand management, community, social media, copywriting, design, and photo operations—fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration.

Oversee department budget and P&L, ensuring efficient resource allocation and alignment with business goals.

Translate business insights and consumer data into compelling storytelling and creative campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and loyalty.

Build scalable systems, workflows, and calendars that streamline execution, enhance consistency, and improve speed-to-market while maintaining the highest creative standards.

Oversee brand governance to ensure alignment in visual and verbal identity, tone, and creative direction across all content.

Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, eCommerce, Creative, Product, Growth, Merchandising, and omnichannel teams to ensure cohesive, data-informed storytelling.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to bring integrated brand campaigns to life across digital, social, community, and experiential channels.

Define and track brand health KPIs, using insights to continuously optimize creative output and inform strategic decisions.

Lead with vision and empathy, mentoring team leads and individual contributors to deliver world-class creative work that fuels brand growth.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in brand, creative, or marketing leadership roles within premium DTC or consumer lifestyle brands (children’s category experience a plus).

Proven track record leading and scaling multidisciplinary brand teams in high-growth, fast-paced environments.

Ability to balance creative vision with operational rigor and data-driven decision-making.

Deep understanding of digital ecosystems, community engagement, and storytelling that drives measurable brand outcomes.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to inspire and develop talent.

Strong analytical mindset and comfort using performance data to shape creative strategy and optimize brand performance.
