Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting
Our client, a global medical technology company, is seeking a Senior Manager to lead SEC reporting and technical accounting.
Location:
Sunnyvale, CA. This position is hybrid, with in-office expectations Tuesday through Thursday.
Job Description:
This role offers high visibility across the organization and the opportunity to shape the future of the reporting function.
Responsibilities
Lead preparation and filing of SEC reports (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, proxy statements) in compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations
Manage reporting calendar and coordinate with internal teams for timely and accurate disclosures
Oversee internal controls and aspects of the close process, including share-based compensation accounting
Monitor regulatory changes and recommend updates to disclosures and processes
Provide mentorship and training to junior team members and stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support government reporting accuracy
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in public accounting or industry
CPA and bachelor’s degree in accounting required
Strong knowledge of SEC regulations, US GAAP, and XBRL tagging
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Experience managing complex reporting projects under tight deadlines
