Interim Sr. Manager of Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting
Our client, a leading SaaS company serving professional services firms, is seeking an Interim Sr. Manager of Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting, who will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and supporting complex technical accounting matters.
This position is fully remote for U.S.-based consultants. The engagement has an expected duration of one month with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
Lead the financial reporting and technical accounting team in drafting and filing SEC documents, including Form 10-Q, 10-K (if extended), Proxy, and other registration statements.
Monitor and analyze new accounting pronouncements and SEC regulations, implementing necessary changes.
Manage preparation and maintenance of external reporting processes, including financial statements, EPS calculations, share-based compensation, and M&A accounting.
Serve as primary liaison with external auditors during audits and quarterly reviews (if extended).
Provide technical accounting guidance and lead projects such as establishing accounting policies and supporting M&A activities.
Requirements
CPA highly preferred.
10+ years of experience in SEC reporting and technical accounting.
Strong preference for Big 4 experience.
In-depth knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance.
Experience in a public company environment.
