THE ROLE Join us as the

Director of Business Intelligence

to define and execute the data strategy for Pure Storage's entire Go-to-Market (GTM) organization, including Sales, Marketing, and Channel. You will lead and mentor the Integrated Operations (IOPS) BI development and analytics teams, driving essential insights that directly inform senior leadership on GTM strategy, resource allocation, and operational efficiency. This is a critical leadership opportunity to transform raw data into clear, actionable recommendations that power our global growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead and execute the

Business Intelligence and Analytics strategy

for the Go-to-Market (GTM) organization, translating key business questions into high-impact analytical projects that drive sales performance and marketing ROI.

Mentor and develop a high-performing team

of BI analysts and developers, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making, while serving as a strategic partner to GTM and revenue operations leadership.

Direct the

design, development, and governance

of all GTM KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks, ensuring the organization has access to accurate, timely, and relevant data to monitor performance.

Collaborate with business and IT to define the

data infrastructure and technology roadmap

(e.g., BI tools, data warehouses) necessary to perform advanced analysis and support GTM operations.

Drive analytical processes for

sales forecasting, pipeline analysis, and campaign effectiveness , packaging complex data findings into compelling stories and clear recommendations for executive-level influence.

WHAT YOU BRING

Proven Leadership in BI/Analytics:

Demonstrated success leading and growing a business intelligence or data analytics team, with extensive experience directly supporting a global sales or GTM organization.

Deep Go-to-Market Domain Expertise:

A comprehensive understanding of GTM functions, including sales operations, marketing analytics, channel management, and the customer lifecycle.

Technical Data Fluency:

Expert-level proficiency with BI tools (e.g.,

Tableau, Power BI, Looker ) and strong command of

SQL

for complex data extraction and manipulation.

Strategic Acumen and Influence:

Exceptional ability to connect analytical insights to overarching business objectives, translating complex data into clear, actionable strategies that influence senior leadership decisions.

Team Development and Communication:

Outstanding track record in building high-performing, collaborative teams, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively partner with and influence stakeholders across all levels.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the

Santa Clara headquarters

office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. The annual base salary range is: $205,000 — $328,000 USD. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
