Position Overview

CG Infinity is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level Computer Technician to join our team in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in computer hardware, troubleshooting, and customer service. This position offers hands-on experience with desktops, laptops, peripherals, and network support in a dynamic business setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for desktop and laptop systems, including installation, configuration, imaging, and maintenance
  • Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues for Windows-based systems
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining office network equipment, printers, monitors, and other peripherals
  • Respond to and resolve help desk tickets efficiently while maintaining accurate documentation
  • Support user account management, password resets, and basic network troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff to deploy hardware upgrades and support IT infrastructure projects
  • Ensure adherence to company IT security policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Basic knowledge of PC hardware components, operating systems, and common applications
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 environment
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced IT environment
Preferred Skills
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certification
  • Experience with Active Directory, imaging tools, or remote support platforms
