- Assist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts regularly.
- Prepare and distribute customer invoices, monitor payments, and assist with collections.
- Monitor payment of vendor invoices and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Support audit activities by preparing requested documentation and reports.
- Perform data entry for accounting information and ensure proper filing of financial documents.
- Address vendor and customer inquiries regarding payments or billing discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or other ERP systems).
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic functions like formulas, spreadsheets, and data entry).
