Job Summary

As a Recruiting Specialist, you will create and implement effective local recruitment strategies to attract new candidates. Engaging with applicants through our tracking system, you will conduct interviews, onboard new hires, and coordinate orientations. Collaborating closely with the local branch team, you'll identify caregiver needs and communicate applicant statuses.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain applicant pools by networking with community services, colleges, employment agencies, and participating in local hiring events.
  • Assess applicant qualifications through thorough reviews and interviews, then present offers to suitable candidates.
  • Guide applicants through the onboarding process, including background checks, new hire forms, E-Verify completion, and ensuring a compliant new hire file.
  • Ensure a positive onboarding experience, creating a great first impression of Help at Home.
  • Organize and conduct weekly New Hire orientation sessions as needed.
  • Keep the applicant tracking system updated throughout the hiring process.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, enhancing our reputation by encouraging new hires to complete application processes.
  • Gather and report metrics to monitor hiring progress for designated branches.

Education And Experience

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or related field. Required: High School Diploma or GED.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in recruiting or talent acquisition is preferred.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and access to insured, reliable transportation.
