Manufacturing Engineer Associate
Duration: 12 months
Location: Must be onsite
Must be US citizen
Shift: Monday-Friday, regular day shift
Payrange: $32.00- $35.00/hr. Hiring Manager Required/Preferences:
Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:
Internship in a relevant engineering space.
Knowledge of equipment manufacturing industry or automobile industry.
Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma tools.
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite; including a strong emphasis on Excel.

- Capable of creating drawings
- Capable of performing tolerance stack up analysis
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- •Top 3 qualifications the Hiring Manager is looking for
- Familiar with CAD modeling software
- Familiar with Mechanical Designing
- Familiar with applying material science within a design
- Has experience with creating tools, jigs, and fixtures for Manufacturing
- Has experience with Catia
- Familiar with Manufacturing Processes
- Familiar with Manufacturing equipment
- These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
- Support more senior engineers in the preparation of plants, designs, computation methods, and reporting.
- Work on projects with limited complexity in a support role.
- Prepare vehicle layouts and component part drawings with supporting calculations (i.e. weight distribution etc.).
- Select parts and/or design components for cost and quality-consciousness.
- Follow project on the assembly floor or through prototype build when instructed by supervisor and render assistance as necessary.
- Generate bills of material and assembly drawings as required by the project.
- Adhere to time schedules.
- Utilize engineering tools (CAD) equipment in assigned projects.
