What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Draft creative, timely, and inspiring digital fundraising content to encourage donations

Manage the email production process for assigned campaigns from inception to completion

Brainstorm new email angles, testing strategies, and creative content for various digital channels

Create optimized user experiences through drafting, testing, and building landing pages

Occasionally assist with social media and text message fundraising initiatives

What is Required (Qualifications)

Minimum of one year of professional writing, communications, digital fundraising, or digital marketing experience

Basic understanding of digital fundraising best practices, particularly in email fundraising

Excellent attention to detail and consistency in writing style across multiple voices

Strong communication, interpersonal, and relational skills

Commitment to electing Democratic pro‑choice women and promoting diversity among candidates and staff

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience on a political campaign or writing for a political candidate or organization

Familiarity with CRM or mailing platforms such as Blue State Digital, EveryAction, ActionKit, or Salsa
