Engineering Project Team Leader Location:

Lead and develop a worldwide team performing advanced thermofluid CFD simulation on LPSD engine components and systems. Partner with component and platform design teams to scope and lead projects to evaluate and optimize coolant flow in core engine components (cylinder heads, blocks, and liners). Ensure timely, quality standard work execution for head/block/liner cooling systems for generating cooling boundary conditions for downstream structural analysis runs. Collaborate with lead structural analysis engineers to provide full engine system temperature results using conjugate heat transfer CFD analysis for engine exhaust systems. Leverage technical expertise and engine system understanding to deliver solutions through innovative use of thermofluid simulation. Lead the continuous improvement of a standard work library of CFD processes, leading research projects to close critical gaps, improve accuracy and reduce throughput time. Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering CFD analysis experience – using Fluent Skills you will have
Technical Excellence:
Extensive knowledge of a given technology and application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges. Influencing Through Expertise:
Extensive knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to use these to deepen own expertise and impact or challenge decisions within and outside own organization. Project Management:
Expert level knowledge of project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects to achieve objectives. Team Management:
