Senior Manager - Data Analytics at Edward Jones. Role requires leading a team of analysts and data scientists across multiple functional areas, collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure delivery of quality work products. Base pay range
$140,400.00/yr - $239,100.00/yr Responsibilities
Leading team members in achieving the department's stated objectives. Providing analytical insights to large and often complex initiatives. Executing best in class analytics within area of responsibility. Equip team members with analytical knowledge and skills to inform prioritization of deliverables and trade-off decisions to meet stakeholder needs. Partnering with senior leaders to integrate analytics into business decisions. Influence business areas on how to effectively use analytics to solve business issues. Translate firmwide messaging to ensure functional understanding and change management. Accountable for the appropriate analytical approach for the business need(s). Responsible for translating department strategy into execution and implementation. Personnel decisions include performance reviews, hiring selection and necessary training. Qualifications
10+ years relevant prior experience required. Experience in quantitative or STEM field. 3-5 years of people leadership preferred. Education
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field. Master's Degree preferred. Business Acumen
Applies broad industry knowledge and commercial awareness to drive financial performance. Leadership
Manages one or more generally homogeneous groups; adapts department plans and priorities to meet short-term service and/or operational objectives. Problem Solving
Identifies and solves complex, operational, and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department. Impact
Guided by division group or division business plans; impacts division results by supporting and funding projects, products, services and/or technologies; makes decisions with risk to the division including client service, firm culture, regulatory compliance and financial impact. Hiring Minimum: $140,400 Hiring Maximum: $239,100 Additional Information
