is responsible for leading a team of analysts and data scientists across multiple functional areas. As a people leader, they are responsible for managing a highly engaged team and guiding career progression through coaching and feedback. They work in collaboration with business stakeholders, ensuring delivery of quality work products. Essential Functions
Leading team members in achieving the department's stated objectives. Providing analytical insights to large and often complex initiatives. Executing best in class analytics within area of responsibility. Equip team members with the analytical knowledge and skills to inform prioritization of deliverables and trade-off decisions to meet stakeholder needs. Partnering with senior leaders to integrate analytics into business decisions. Influence business areas on how to effectively use analytics to solve business issues. Translate firmwide messaging to ensure functional understanding and change management. Accountable for the appropriate analytical approach for the business need(s). Responsible for translating department strategy into execution and implementation. Personnel decisions include performance reviews, hiring selection and necessary training. $239100 Skills/Requirements Experience Required 10+ years relevant prior experience required Experience in quantitative or STEM field 3-5 years of people leadership preferred Education Required Bachelor's Degree in relevant field Master's Degree preferred Business Acumen Applies broad industry knowledge and commercial awareness to drive financial performance Leadership Manages one or more generally homogeneous groups; adapts department plans and priorities to meet short-term service and/or operational objectives Problem Solving Identifies and solves complex, operational, and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department Impact Guided by division group or division business plans; impacts the division results by supporting and funding projects, products, services and/or technologies; makes decisions and mitigates situations that carry a high degree of risk to a division, including client service, firm culture, regulatory compliance with applicable employment laws and firm policy and monetary impact Interpersonal Skills Persuades managers and leaders to take action and/or negotiates with external partners/vendors/customers INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY:
