Tooling Engineer

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Tooling Engineer with 10 to 15 years of hands-on expertise in Injection Molding Tooling. The ideal candidate will take a technical lead role in designing molds, driving tooling improvements, and supporting manufacturing processes including molding, high-speed assembly, warehouse automation, and AMRs.
Key Responsibilities
Design and engineer moderately complex tooling for molds, jigs, and fixtures to align with product specifications.
Conduct and contribute to design reviews and perform Design for Manufacturability (DFM) evaluations.
Support mold validation activities and lead troubleshooting for tooling-related issues.
Recommend and implement cost-effective design changes to enhance tool performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for qualification, sampling, and final part approval.
Prepare and deliver timely status updates in alignment with project schedules.
Maintain documentation and ensure proper upkeep of tooling and related equipment in the tool room.
Required Experience
10–15 years of exclusive experience in Injection Molding Tooling.
Strong background in mold design, tooling modifications, and repair coordination.
