Position Summary POSITION SUMMARY:
Coordinate and supervise the daily activities and operation of public parking facilities and employee parking facilities. Verify contractor compliance of operational obligations as contractually required. Provide direction and training to maintain consistent and proper application of all rules, regulations and procedures. Provide supervision, leadership, and direction to Parking Specialists.
Minimum Requirements
Associate degree and three (3) years experience related to the parking industry, ground transportation and/or airport operations, to include customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Experience in the airport parking industry preferred. Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.
Knowledge of City of Orlando regulations governing parking operations, and OIA rules and policies.
Knowledge of the Airport Emergency Plan (AEP), CFR 1540 & 1542 (airport security), and other Orlando International Airport rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Excellent oral and written communications skills and strong customer service skills required, multi-lingual skills desired.
Demonstrated computer skills to include proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs required.
Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational, and administrative skills.
Leading confidently by taking responsibility for routine decisions and emergency actions.
Ability to make timely and critical decisions with limited information and resolve operational conflicts within the parameters of established guidelines and procedures.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain professionalism and diplomacy at all times while interacting with the public and in potentially stressful, difficult and confrontational situations.
Supervisory/leadership skills, to include motivating staff and teambuilding.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage time effectively, and pay close attention to detail.
Must be capable of responding to any emergency that arises and provide support to all GOAA Departments.
Must be able and willing to work both standard and non-standard work schedules, including weekends to accommodate airport operations.
