POSITIONSUMMARY:

Assist in the management of day-to-day Orlando Executive Airport (ORL) operations. Provide direction to Operations staff to ensure duties are performed safely, efficiently, accurately, and promptly. Ensure compliance with Aviation Authority policies, Airport Rules and Regulations, Minimum Standards, and all applicable Federal, State and local regulations and laws. Develop and conduct initial and recurrent operations training programs. Maintain the Airport Emergency Plan (AEP) and other departmental procedures manuals. Serve as primary management responder during all incidents and irregular operations. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Aviation management or related field and 3 years’ experience in Airport Operations to include airfield, training and emergency response, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Supervisory experience required. Strong knowledge of federal, state and local rules and regulations applicable to the operation of a general aviation airport, to include Federal Aviation Regulations, Advisory Circulars etc. Must have strong familiarity with aircraft ground and flight operations and related terminology. Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite. Valid Florida driver’s license Industry certification preferred (e.g. AAAE ACE, C.M. etc.) BENEFITS:
