Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage job postings, coordinate with recruiting partners, and schedule interviews
Conduct background and reference checks; support candidate assessments
Lead onboarding and orientation for new hires (direct and temporary employees)
Employee Relations & HR Administration
Serve as point of contact for general HR questions and concerns
Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
Support offboarding processes including exit interviews, final pay coordination, and asset collection
Assist with policy updates and ensure documentation is up to date and accessible
Compensation, Benefits & Compliance
Process payroll and salary changes with appropriate departments and vendors
Reconcile benefit invoices and administer leave-related paperwork
Support annual compliance efforts such as ACA and EEO reporting
Culture & Employee Engagement
Plan and coordinate employee engagement initiatives and appreciation events
Contribute to internal communications including newsletters and HR updates
General HR Support
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while balancing shifting priorities
Take on additional HR-related duties as needed in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organization
High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
Ability to problem-solve, adapt to change, and manage multiple tasks
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
Professional demeanor and ability to represent the organization internally and externally
