Job Responsibilities

Lead cross-squad engineering initiatives to improve architecture, reduce technical debt, and increase system reliability

Design and implement reusable frameworks, infrastructure, and services for efficient team collaboration

Partner with product and engineering leadership to align technical strategy with business goals

Set standards for code quality, testing, and documentation across squads

Coach and mentor engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement

Qualifications

8–10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant technical leadership across teams

Deep expertise in backend technologies (Node.js, Kotlin, Java)

Strong experience with CI/CD workflows (e.g., CircleCI, GitHub) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)

Proven ability to design and lead scalable, maintainable, and testable systems

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of guiding cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

Experience mentoring engineers and enhancing engineering practices across squads

Demonstrated ability to break down long-term engineering goals into clear, actionable milestones for teams

A humble, empathetic approach to collaboration, fostering trust and shared ownership
