Senior Project Manager - Greater Indianapolis
Base pay range: $150,000 - $220,000 per year.
Description The Senior Project Manager leads large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects from preconstruction to closeout, ensuring budget, schedule, and quality goals are met. This role oversees client relations, contract negotiations, team performance, mentoring staff, and driving process improvements across the organization.
Responsibilities
Lead all phases of commercial and industrial construction projects, typically ranging from $10M to $50M+
Oversee project strategy, budgeting, scheduling, quality assurance, and risk mitigation
Act as the primary liaison for clients, owners, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders
Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and field personnel
Manage all project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and schedules, utilizing Procore
Negotiate subcontractor agreements and maintain strong relationships with trade partners
Collaborate with preconstruction and estimating teams to ensure accurate planning and scope alignment
Ensure all construction activities adhere to company safety protocols and operational standards
Facilitate project meetings, drive stakeholder alignment, and deliver consistent executive-level reporting
Champion continuous improvement in project execution, team performance, and client satisfaction
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in commercial or industrial construction project management
Demonstrated success managing multiple large-scale or technically complex projects
Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and scheduling software
Strong financial acumen, contract knowledge, and negotiation skills
Proven leadership, communication, and team development abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and high-level client relationships
