Job Overview Akkodis is seeking a

Java full-stack developer

for a

Contract

role with a client in

Wilmington, DE (Hybrid) . The role focuses on designing scalable solutions with Java and Spring Boot, ensuring code quality, and mentoring the development team.

Compensation Rate Range:

$50/hour to $53/hour (negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors).

Responsibilities

Designing and developing both front-end and back-end components using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies

Implementing and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and requirements

Ensuring code quality, testing, and providing mentorship to junior developers

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

8+ years of software development experience

Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and AWS

Expertise in microservices architecture and cloud technologies

Nice to Have
