will act as a technical specialist responsible for the development, administration and production support for enterprise business applications and mobile apps. This role requires expertise in modern software development frameworks, cloud technologies, database programming and artificial intelligence development and integration. This position requires a strong skill set including Microsoft ASP.Net framework, microservice architecture, Artificial Intelligence (AI), C#, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI Service/Report Builder, Power Automate), Node, Microsoft Azure development/administration, Oracle and SQL relational database programming. In addition, this position requires strong knowledge and experience in AI development and integration with existing business applications using prompt engineering and AI agents in application development with Microsoft Azure OpenAI and Copilot. Design, develop, deploy, and maintain business applications using the Microsoft ASP.NET framework, microservice architecture, C#, Node.js, Microsoft Power Platform (including Power Apps, Power BI Service/Report Builder, and Power Automate), and Microsoft Azure development tools. Develop and maintain web service APIs using the .NET framework, with a focus on integrating AI services and applying prompt engineering techniques to support AI-driven solutions. Develop and implement AI-enhanced features using prompt engineering and AI agents such as Azure OpenAI and Copilot. Integrate AI capabilities into existing business applications to improve automation and operational efficiency. Administer Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, ensuring governance, performance optimization, and user support. Design and publish reports using Microsoft Power BI, Oracle databases, and Microsoft Azure SQL Server. Develop and maintain Oracle and Microsoft SQL components (views, stored procedures, PL/SQL packages, functions, and complex SQL queries) to support BI and application functionality. Schedule:

44/36, Monday through Friday with Every Other Friday off. Hours: start 8:00 am to 5:45 pm with flexibility in start times (no earlier than 6 am) and end times (no later than 6 pm). Hybrid:

Metropolitan's current practice is a hybrid schedule (two days in person, other days remote). Telework policy is scheduled for negotiations and will provide final direction once completed. Employment Standards

Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years of relevant experience; or Master's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience. Degree definition:
