Overview
Student Enrichment Coordinator (Community Education) at Chagrin Falls Exempted Village Schools. Position type: Administrative/Community Education coordination. Location: District Wide. 260 days - 4 hours per day. Reports to: Assistant Superintendent of Student Advancement. Responsibilities
Coordinate the assessment, development, and implementation of community education programs. Direct and deliver effective program services; cultivate a supportive work environment and maintain professionalism. Identify work priorities and update community education program policies and procedures with administrative staff. Collaborate with the community and district staff to develop high-quality program activities. Ensure program activities are self-sustaining when not authorized to use district funds; establish partnerships with community resources. Develop and implement logistics procedures to ensure programming continuity; coordinate activities with support personnel (building access, custodial, instructional resources, office support, parking, security, etc.). Work with district administrators to ensure program staff are properly qualified. Prepare program schedules (activity calendar, hours of operation, staffing, etc.). Recommend program fees and needs-based financial assistance strategies. Manage all marketing activities (advertising, media presentations, newsletters, registration materials, etc.). Coordinate the development and distribution of seasonal program brochures and monitor internal/external communications. Conduct outreach to encourage program attendance and participation. Manage/update the community education website and oversee program registration procedures; manage participant records and rosters. Process vendor invoices and staff payments; manage rental agreements and collection of fees; maintain procurement records and vendor performance. Provide opportunities for participant feedback and program enhancements. Maintain document and records management systems; comply with district records retention/disposal policies; evaluate program outcomes. Analyze program performance indicators to align budget proposals with district goals. Foster professional relationships, uphold a professional appearance, and maintain confidentiality and privacy of information. Maintain acceptable attendance and open/effective communications; support equality, diversity, and inclusion. Keep current with emergency preparedness, health and safety protocols, and appropriate technology usage. Address harassment or inappropriate behavior; comply with legal statutes regarding discrimination and child safety; perform other duties as directed. Qualifications
Minimum: High school diploma or GED; a business administration certificate is desirable. Experience with community programs and management skills verified by training and/or relevant work experience. Ability to implement office administration principles (organization, procedures, etc.). Data management skills (software navigation, file organization, tracking/analysis, communication). Ability to develop and implement clear pathways to achieve program objectives; demonstrated leadership; high-performance standards. Criminal background acceptable for public school employment; willingness to address program needs with integrity. Preferred Attributes
