Date: Oct 28, 2025 Requisition No:864240 Agency: Commerce Working Title: OPS GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS CONSULTANT III - 40090045 This position is a support role for the Bureau of Community Planning and Growth, focusing primarily on the Special District Accountability Program. It involves researching issues related to Chapter 189 of the Florida Statutes, tracking special districts that are in noncompliance, maintaining the master list of special districts, preparing reports, and assisting the Bureau in keeping track of documents routed throughout the Department. Your Specific Responsibilities:
Maintain special projects and other process tracking, keep records up‑to‑date. Prepare reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information. Track documents, folders, reports, and other items. Provide support to Bureau staff as needed. Maintain, monitor, and develop project plans and schedules. Assist Special District Accountability Program staff in preparing invoices for the annual special district fee and following up on districts failing to pay fees to the state’s contracted collection agency. Other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication for reporting and coordination. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively. Ability to handle multiple projects and manage time efficiently. Ability to perform basic administrative duties as needed.
