Seeking a

Social Media Analyst / Social Listening

to lead social listening and analytics for television series and films. This role interprets conversation data into actionable insights, defines KPIs, benchmarks performance, and builds executive-ready reports to guide strategic, brand, and cultural initiatives across campaigns and title launches. Works closely with Audience and Title Marketing leaders and partners with internal insights teams and external research vendors. Details

Type: Contract, Hybrid Schedule: Regular daily hours M-F (FRI's are remote) Duration: 12 months / 1 year Pay: $43 - $48/hr, paid weekly, benefits eligible Must have Direct to Consumer social media analytics and listening experience Responsibilities

Lead social listening for TV and film campaigns; measure sentiment and conversation across various channels. Define KPIs, build benchmarks, and evaluate campaigns; translate listening data into clear recommendations to optimize audience engagement and title performance. Build, maintain, and QA dashboards/workspaces in listening tools; run independent queries and synthesize results. Prepare recurring and ad-hoc insights reports for senior leadership; deliver executive-ready briefs. Advise on evolving social tactics throughout campaign lifecycles as new signals emerge (announcements, trailers, press moments). Partner with cross-functional marketing and internal insights groups; coordinate with enterprise research vendors to align methodologies and reporting best practices. Qualifications

5+ years in social media insights/analytics within a content-driven environment. Preferred experience at a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) streaming service or with a DTC research vendor. Proficiency with social listening tools; ability to build queries and dashboards in Quid and/or Sprinklr; familiarity with Meltwater, Wavemetrix, ListenFirst. Deep knowledge of platform ecosystems and best practices across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube a plus. Experience defining KPIs, building benchmarks, and evaluating campaigns; comfortable with primary research methodologies and analysis. Background spanning agency, vendor, and/or client-side. Strong communication, writing, and storytelling skills; highly organized, deadline-driven, collaborative, and proactive; enthusiasm for television, marketing, emerging media, and technology.
