Position Summary: Headquartered in Englewood Cliffs, N.J., Samsung Electronics America is a leader in mobile technologies, consumer electronics, home appliances, and enterprise solutions. This role focuses on managing relationships with our distributor partner, D&H, driving channel sales and growth.
Role and Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive channel strategy aligned with business goals.
Manage ongoing pipeline and inventory.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at partner organizations, including executives, sales teams, and account managers.
Drive revenue growth through the channel by identifying new business opportunities, managing run rates, promoting products and services, and supporting sales efforts.
Collaborate with internal teams—sales, marketing, product development—to ensure alignment and support for channel initiatives.
Provide regular performance updates, forecasts, and insights to internal and external stakeholders to support strategic decision‑making.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and risks within the channel.
Negotiate and manage partner agreements, pricing, and incentives to maximize mutual profitability.
Lead joint business planning sessions, QBRs, and other strategic meetings to drive mutual growth.
Mentor and support funded head resources, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and partner forums to promote the brand within the channel ecosystem.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
10+ years of experience in channel management, preferably with direct experience with D&H or similar large channel partners.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth through channel partnerships and exceeding sales targets.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Deep understanding of technology products and services, particularly in the IT industry; mobility products a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
Ability to travel up to 30%.
