Description Breast Imaging Quality Associate is responsible for improving patient schedule utilization and a variety of duties to ensure compliance with MQSA standards, accuracy of orders, assisting with minimizing same day cancellation, effectively communicating with patients, consumer access team, and referring providers to help minimize/eliminate delays on date of service.

Responsibilities:

Quality review of breast imaging reports performed throughout BHSF

Obtain and enter required pathology information into the breast imaging reporting system for all BHSF locations

Reconcile patient notification letters and recall letters for all breast imaging patients seen throughout BHSF

Work closely with Imaging teams, departmental leaders, consumer access, patients and providers to ensure identified issues are promptly addressed

Work with various departments for coordination of patient appointments as needed

Estimated pay range for this position is $16.28 - $18.84 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications Degrees:

High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper.

Additional Qualifications

Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy

One to three-years experience preferred in radiology or medical office/hospital setting

Experience with Windows and Imaging programs

Experience with breast imaging reporting system, MQSA, and quality review preferred

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Minimum Required Experience: 1 Year
