As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Unarmed Patrol in Burbank, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in various industries such as Tech, Media, Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. By conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible, you will help deter security‑related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. Mon 10:00 PM – 06:30 AM

Fri 10:00 PM – 06:30 AM

Sun 10:00 PM – 06:30 AM

What You’ll Do

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential threats.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities.

Collaborate with site personnel and/or staff to communicate security‑related concerns and provide assistance as needed.

Complete detailed and accurate reports on daily activities and any incidents that occur during the shift.

Follow all Allied Universal and client protocols for incident response, access control, and emergency procedures.

Remain visible and approachable while patrolling to provide a reassuring presence and assist visitors and employees as needed.

Minimum Requirements

At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.

A valid guard card or license is preferred.

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Criminal history considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Drug screening as permitted by law.

Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
