Extremely Stable Commercial Printing & Packaging Company located in Arlington, Texas seeking experienced Prepress Manager for day shift. Responsibilities
Oversee daily prepress production activities to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met. Manage the prepress process, including file preparation, color management, and proofing. Collaborate with graphic designers to ensure layouts and typography meet client specifications. Conduct quality control checks throughout the prepress process to maintain consistency. Train and supervise staff on best practices in printing, layout design, and manufacturing processes. Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations. Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years prepress experience. Minimum 5 years managerial experience. Knowledge of Mac & PC computers as well as their maintenance. Knowledge of XMF Workflow. Knowledge of Switch Software. Knowledge of variable data and writing scripts. Strong understanding of prepress processes, color management techniques, and quality control measures. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for graphic design tasks. Experience in manufacturing environments with an emphasis on efficiency and productivity. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment. Benefits
