It Asset Management (ITAM) Governance Lead

The team drives technology and digital transformation, partners with business leaders to design and execute new strategies through IT and operations services and ensures the necessary IT risk management and security measures are in place and aligned with enterprise architecture standards and principles. The IT Asset Management (ITAM) Governance Lead is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining governance frameworks and processes that ensure the effective control and oversight of Corebridge Financial IT assets throughout their lifecycle. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of enterprise-scale IT asset lifecycles, compliance frameworks and vendor management and is accountable for maintaining compliance, optimizing asset utilization, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping of hardware and software inventories. We are seeking a seasoned and strategic ITAM Governance Lead to drive the vision, governance and continuous improvement of our asset management program and oversee the lifecycle of IT assets ensuring effective decisions are made concerning Corebridge software and technology-related hardware purchases and redistribution. Responsibilities: Lead the establishment of ITAM frameworks aligned within industry standards Develop and enforce standards, processes and procedures for IT asset governance across the enterprise Collaborate with stakeholders across procurement, Finance, IT Security and Legal to define ownership, accountability and compliance metrics Maintain governance over asset lifecycles, including acquisition, deployment, usage, maintenance and disposal activities Design KPs and reporting mechanisms for asset performance, contract utilization, software licensing and vendor compliance Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for ITAM governance in enterprise architecture, transformation programs, operational initiatives, Infrastructure and Finance cost-optimization efforts and IT Control Audits Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field 10+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, with at least 3 years in a governance, compliance or leadership role Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle management, software licensing and regulatory requirements Industry Knowledge Areas: ISO 19770/55000, ITIL, COBIT Expertise in ITAM Tools; ServiceNow preferred Certifications such as ITIL, ITAMF, ITITAM - CSAM, CHAMP, CITAM, CITAD Experience in large-scale enterprise IT environments Proven ability to drive governance initiatives and influence culture change Strategic mindset with a passion for operational excellence and risk mitigation Excellent analytical, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Work Location: This position is based in Corebridge Financial's Houston, TX or Jersey City, NJ office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
